About this event

Area Featured: Wood Shop

Minimum Age: 18 Years Age

Learn the fundamentals of woodworking while creating your very own wooden tool tote! In this beginner-friendly class, participants will gain hands-on experience with essential shop tools, including the table saw, radial arm saw, band saw, and router. Instructors will guide you step-by-step through proper setup, safe operation, and key techniques, giving you the confidence to use these tools independently.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a sturdy, handmade tool tote that’s as functional as it is classic—perfect for carrying your tools, art supplies, or other gear. This class is designed for teens and beginners who want to build both skills and confidence in the woodshop.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please wear a shirt that is of natural fibers, long pants, and shoes that completely cover feet. Safety gear will be supplied.
