Salem Christian School Open House

About this event

For more than 75 years, Salem Christian School has served families from its home

in the heart of Winston-Salem, building a strong legacy through personal

relationships, faithful partnership and a distinctly Christian education. Today, more

families across the Triad are taking a fresh look at SCS—and discovering a vibrant,

close-knit school where students are known, loved, challenged and encouraged to

grow.

Families searching for a new school home—or choosing one for the first time—are

invited to experience Salem Christian during its PreK–11th Grade Open House on

November 12 from 8:30–9:45 a.m.

At Salem Christian, students are lovingly shepherded toward becoming exactly

who God created them to be. That commitment shapes both instruction anddiscipline. Mistakes are met with truth, grace and accountability, helping students

understand their responsibility to the larger community—and how their choices

shape trust, strengthen relationships and cultivate wisdom and character.

With a 15:1 student-to-teacher ratio, Salem Christian offers the best of both

worlds: a school community personal enough for students to be truly known and a

strong academic program designed to help them reach their potential. Dedicated

teachers provide both encouragement and appropriate challenge, while the

Discovery program offers individualized support for students who learn differently.

Honors, Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses expand academic

opportunities, and experiences in athletics, fine arts, service and spiritual life help

students discover their gifts and grow well beyond the classroom.

Located at 423 S. Broad Street in the heart of Winston-Salem, Salem Christian is

convenient to I-40, I-52 and I-74 and accessible to families throughout

Winston-Salem, High Point, Greensboro and the greater Piedmont Triad.

Families are invited to tour the campus, meet the people who shape the SCS

experience and see for themselves what generations of Salem Christian families

have valued—and what a growing number of Triad families are now discovering.
