Lorena Guillen Tango Ensemble & Hermeto Pascoal Tribute Band

About this event

This double bill featuring the Lorena Guillén Tango Ensemble and the Hermeto Pascoal Tribute Band showcases the rich musical traditions of two South American powerhouses, Argentina and Brazil, setting aside their legendary soccer rivalry for an evening of exceptional music-making. No balls on stage, just masterful instrumentalists and vocalists.

Native Argentine artist Lorena Guillén and her ensemble present a sophisticated blend of traditional tango, nuevo tango, and original pan-Latin fusion works, weaving classical influences with contemporary jazz and Latin American folk rhythms.

The Hermeto Pascoal Tribute Quartet celebrates the boundless, genre-defying legacy of renowned Brazilian composer and multi-instrumentalist Hermeto Pascoal, bringing together an accomplished group of musicians with deep personal, artistic, and professional connections to his visionary "universal music."
