About this event
Greensboro Urban Ministry’s Feast of Caring has never been more important to attend and support.
It takes place on Thursday, November 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church (1000 W. Friendly Avenue). The cost of admission is any size donation you would like to make to Urban Ministry. The evening itself is quite modest; come have an unprogrammed dinner of soup and bread. If you want, you can have matzah ball soup and challah – Temple Emanuel has been providing that for decades. The menu features much more, including vegetarian options, if you would like to try other items. For those donating $35 or more, you can choose a “thank you” gift of pottery or a special pack of holiday cards.
Feast of Caring is Urban Ministry’s largest fundraiser of the year.
In 2026, it is essential that we do our part!
Temple Emanuel has supported this effort since late last century. Our Brotherhood continues to provide a monthly meal at Urban Ministry.
As we prepare for Thanksgiving later this month, Rabbis Koren and Hertz ask that you take this extra step on the Thursday before Thanksgiving.
