- ➤ On Friday, Greensboro police notified the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office about a suspect in a Greensboro shooting wanted in Maryland, and Virginia deputies later exchanged gunfire with 29-year-old Edmond Johnson from Louisiana found in a Swift tractor-trailer at a Love’s Truck Stop off Interstate 77 in Lambsburg—he was killed and two deputies were injured and are in stable condition.
