  • Spruce Pine is a small mountain town that supplies most high-purity quartz used in computer chip production, making it a key resource in the US trade war with China.   • Two international students at UNCG had their education visas revoked on Wednesday—raising campus concerns about access to education as officials have yet to confirm if they are still enrolled.
