- ➤ In Greensboro, bride Kiara Burton spoke for the first time about the loss of her husband, Tyrek Burton, who was fatally shot outside their wedding at Barber Park Event Center on October 12 — police say the shooting was linked to a road rage incident and no arrests have been made. FOX 8
- ➤ A high-ranking member of the Sinaloa Cartel was arrested Tuesday in Nogales, Arizona—Emmanuel Martimiano Leon-Soto, 42, now faces a life sentence for drug trafficking and up to 20 years for money laundering if convicted after a November federal indictment tied to North Carolina operations.
