  • More than 50 local restaurants joined the Serving Greensboro Together initiative, donating a portion of sales to support a community kitchen fighting food insecurity in Greensboro. The donation drive is expected to provide valuable food assistance for residents in need.  WFMY

  • Councilmember Jim Westmoreland and local experts began removing ivy from oak trees on a school campus, enlisting the JES Garden Club and church volunteers (with tools donated by Lowe’s) to protect the trees.
