  • Xavier Thomas, 29, and Donte Daniels, 25, were arrested in High Point on Friday at about 2:10 p.m.—officers responded to a home invasion call in which a man was forced inside at gunpoint, recovered two guns and stolen items, and charged the suspects with multiple felonies.  WFMY

  • Guilford County commissioners are working with state legislators to change ballot rules so a quarter-cent sales tax hike with clear language committing revenue to school employee wage increases will appear on the primary-election ballot.
