  • Greensboro has launched the Clinician Alternative Response (CAR) to send behavioral health clinicians instead of officers to eligible 911 calls on weekdays from 6 a.m. to midnight, following a pilot that cut over 60 patrol responses; the change lets police focus on higher-risk emergencies.  WFMY
