- ➤ Greensboro officials said that the demolition of the Bellemeade Street Parking Deck, which began in May after safety issues were discovered and led to its permanent closure in February, will close all lanes of North Elm Street from Bellemeade Street to north of the mid-block crosswalk at Center City Park on June 16 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes during the week-long closure as demolition continues for several months.
