  • Spectrum announced a $50,000 donation—along with 10 new laptops and a smartboard—to the Women’s Resource Center of Greensboro to boost job-readiness training for local residents. EDUCATION NEWS

  • This spring, UNCG’s Wind Ensemble—a group of 50 music majors—toured over 1,000 miles across the South on a nine-day trip, performing in six cities, including one big show at the College Band Directors National Conference in Fort Worth—where band directors praised their work.  UNCG

  • Guilford Creek Week runs today through June 28—offering creek cleanups, guided hikes, water tours and art activities across the county. The event is a joint effort by local government, nonprofits and businesses to raise awareness about our waterways.  WXII 12
