- ➤ A 59-year-old man died in a workplace accident at the Cintas facility on Federal Drive in Greensboro on Wednesday+ EMS arrived at 11:20 p.m. and declared him dead while police and the medical examiner began investigating the incident. FOX 8

- ➤ Police have been searching for Larry Darnell Burton, 74, since July 2 after he left an unlicensed care facility on Moody Street in Greensboro—officials shut down the home on July 10 and his daughter, grandsons, and law enforcement continue to look for him. FOX 8

- ➤ North Carolina A&T plans to acquire 70 acres on Old McConnell Loop and JFH Dairy Road to expand its agricultural research opportunities—UNC System Board of Governors approved the purchase, which will use $3 million in federal grant funding for HBCU support. WFDD
- ➤ Budget documents show that 14 UNC schools saw higher enrollment revenue while North Carolina A&T and Winston-Salem State are expecting funding losses next year, and UNCG cut its budget by 2% yesterday.
