- ➤ Officers with the Greensboro Police Department said they are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash on Pembroke Road and Chatham Drive on Friday shortly before 5:30 p.m., where a Ford Focus ran off the road, hit a barrier-type object, struck a tree, and the driver (identity not released) died from injuries; impairment did not appear to be a factor. - ➤ Officers with the Greensboro Police Department issued a silver alert and are searching for 72-year-old Kristian Perry—also known as Lamont—who was last seen Aug. 30 wearing a blue sweater, white pants with a black belt, black sandals with white bottoms, a silver watch and ring, and is described as having gray hair in a ponytail, brown eyes and dark large frame glasses.
