CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Two Northeast Guilford High School students, one charged with two counts and the other with three counts of assault on school personnel, were charged after a physical altercation with a teacher and two staff members occurred on Tuesday around 10:30 a.m. in McLeansville—no major injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing. - ➤ Police pursuits in North Carolina led to 42 deaths last year—Forsyth County saw its chase numbers jump from 31 to 100 between 2018 and 2023 while two Triad departments refused to release their chase policies. News & Record
