  • Today marks one year since former Clemson football player Diondre Overton was fatally shot on Spring Mill Road—his loved ones gathered at Northeast Park in Gibsonville on Saturday to honor his memory by launching the Diondre Overton Foundation to help end gun violence and support local youth.  WXII 12
  • Police released bodycam and dashboard footage of a May 14 traffic stop at Willow Road and McRae Street, where Officer McDaniel stopped Damonta Glover—charged with driving on a revoked license and an equipment violation—and apprehended passengers Savon Johnson and A’mon Moore on assault and resisting arrest charges; community groups and police officials remain divided over the incident.  News & Record
