- ➤ A northbound lane on Josephine Boyd Street at Campus Drive in Greensboro was closed after an eight-inch water main broke on Monday morning—leaving about 30 customers without water. Water crews were repairing the break and expected to finish around 5 p.m. as city officials warned drivers to avoid the area. WXII 12
- ➤ Samuel Hunter will become the new director of the Greensboro Housing & Neighborhood Development Department next Wednesday as he takes charge of local housing challenges. A Greensboro resident who previously worked in Winston-Salem, he will manage programs such as the $30M Choice Neighborhood Initiative and work with local partners to boost affordable housing options.
