- ➤ This week the Triad hosts many free events including a Native American Pow Wow at Greensboro Country Park from September 19-21, a free movie night in High Point on September 20, and a family fun day at Glenwood Recreation Center from 1 to 3 p.m.—additional events include Forsyth Fun Fest, Fiesta Festival in Winston-Salem, Greensboro Pride Festival, karaoke at Grandover Resort, and an artist happy hour at Steel Hands Brewing on September 24 to celebrate local culture. - ➤ On Sept15, UNCG kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with Fiesta at the Fountain outside Moran Commons—students and performers celebrated diverse cultures with music, dance and speeches in an event open to all.
