- ➤ High Point and Greensboro are preparing shelters as winter nears. In High Point, over 100 beds will be ready in November from local ministries—while Greensboro’s Doorway Project will offer shelter for 125 people starting November. WFDD

- ➤ State health regulators approved Cone Health to build a 46-bed community hospital in Mebane, selecting the system over a competing Duke-Novant bid based on its proven service to Alamance residents. - ➤ Last Saturday, A&T lost 62—20 to NCCU at Truist Stadium as NCCU dominated with 745 total yards, three turnovers and two safeties and secured its fourth straight win.
