  • ➤ The Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities is preparing the 40th-annual Shopper’s Day on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Four Seasons Town Centre, where over 1,500 participants will enjoy cheer, free gift wrapping and Santa visits & each shopper gets $10 as organizers seek donations.  Rhino Times
  • ➤ The Omega Psi Phi Greensboro Alumni Tau Chapter hosted a drive Saturday, Dec. 6 to give coats and care packages to residents in need during the early winter chill.  WFMY
  • ➤ Members of Omega Psi Phi Tow Omega chapter held a winter coat drive this morning to help local residents keep warm. The drive provided winter coats to those in need for the cold season.  WFMY
  • ➤ Tons of bikers gathered at Riding High Harley-Davidson today to support the annual toy drive organized in partnership with Cone Health. The event will deliver donated toys to children and bring holiday cheer to local families.  WFMY
