- ➤ The Greensboro Swarm surprised local families with a $6,000 holiday shopping spree at Academy Sports and Outdoors today, giving forty children a chance to pick gifts on a $150 budget. - ➤ The Otis and Wawa 10th Annual SantaCon Bar Crawl will take place Saturday, Dec. 13 from 3 to 9 p.m. in downtown Greensboro, with registration and kick-off at Boxcar Bar (Arcade) from 2:30 to 4:30 and funds raised going to Junior Achievement. YES! Weekly
- ➤ Rick Adelman, a retired executive volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank, has trained volunteers at the Greensboro Distribution and Nutrition Education Center to direct food statewide.
