- ➤ North Carolina A&T held its Fall 2025 commencement ceremonies on Dec. 12-13 at First Horizon Coliseum, awarding about 1,200 undergraduate and nearly 300 graduate degrees plus three posthumous honors. Grammy Award-winning keynote speaker NaTasha Yvette Williams (’92) urged graduates to follow their dreams with purpose. Carolina Peacemaker
- ➤ UNCG held its Fall 2025 Commencement with two ceremonies — on Dec. 11 at the UNCG Auditorium and on Dec. 12 at First Horizon Coliseum — celebrating over 2,000 graduates including 1,488 undergraduates, 321 master’s and 145 doctoral students. - ➤ Jordan Marelli, a top ranked Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player now in the top 150 globally, led the UNCG esports team to a Grand Finals win at NECC and Playfly and is interning with the Greensboro Swarm as he builds his gaming career with UNCG's new esports concentration. UNCG

- ➤ Officials confirmed a measles exposure at RDU last Wednesday and recommend that children six months and older receive the MMR vaccine. Doctors stress that travelers take preventive measures as holiday flights increase & symptoms usually show between 7 and 14 days after exposure. Spectrum News 1
