- ➤ Funeral services for civil rights pioneer Joseph McNeil will be held today at his alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.—Bishop William J. Barber II will deliver the eulogy while additional services are set for Hempstead on Sept. 8 and Wilmington on Sept. 12 and 13. WFMY
